“How could you do this to me?” the woman shouted at Barr, according to the arrest report.

She told deputies, initially, that Barr “hit me with a stump,” but then said she wasn’t “going to sugar coat it anymore,” and he actually “bashed her head against a stump,” the report said.

Authorities located a log with blood on it next to a liquor bottle.

After being read his Miranda Rights, Barr told deputies they had gone to bed at around 10 p.m. after drinking together. The woman had woken up to use the bathroom, which also woke him up.

Barr alleges he was in the tent when she hit her head and denied any part in the incident.

He was ultimately arrested and transported to the Marion County Jail and charged with domestic aggravated battery.
