Anti-Israel comments posted online by a SickKids anesthesiologist, who is also a University of Toronto teacher, are under investigation by the hospital.

It was reposted on X by @HonestRepCanada who asked: “Why would any Jewish person feel comfortable getting treatment or being taught by him?”
SickKids responded Friday saying: “Some concerning anti-Semitic social media activity related to the war in Israel and Gaza has been brought to our attention, which is being investigated in relation to SickKids’ Code of Conduct. For confidentiality reasons, we are not able to provide more information.”
